We have had an unofficial partnership with FITS Toronto for a long time and we would like to officially announce us moving forward as a team. We are doing this by offering three stages of integrated training packages.Make sure to check out some of the links listed at the bottom of the page for more information.

All three programs are based on ages and the needs of the athlete.

  • Rising Stars:

This program is for ages 7 – 10 and is a movement development class that properly prepares younger athletes for the physical toll that PowerSkating Academy’s technical skating lesson take on the body. BEFORE to the Power Classes, students will walk upstairs to FITS Toronto gym and go through FITS Hockey Metrics for around 30 minutes. This includes movement assessment, hip range of motion assessment and a force plate assessment.

  • Young Guns:

This program is for ages 10-13 and is an athletic development class that ingrains the correct movement patterns that a hockey player needs to excel. AFTER a Power Class, athletes will walk upstairs to FITS Toronto for an hour long class. This program will focus on FITS Hockey Metrics as well and will continually asses the athletes movement while also improving their single-leg control. Single-leg control is such an important aspect to level a student can improve their skating ability.

  • ELITE ONLY:

This program is for high level students who require specific scheduling to coordinate their in-season needs. This program schedule is based by communication with PowerSkating Academy and FITS Toronto do find offer the classes that will offer the best level of improvement for the athlete.

We look forward to teaming up with FITS Training. FITS is Building Better Athletes and We Create Great Skaters.
