Dear Clients,

We have sent an email to all our skaters currently enrolled in our Winter session. We are posting this blog posts to inform all of our other clients.

We are writing to let you know that effective tonight, Sunday March 15th, at 11:59PM, PowerSkating Academy will stop all classes, clinics, semi-private and private lessons.

All of the remaining classes will be refunded or a credit provided.

We have completed over 200 phone calls in the last 48 hours – if we haven’t reached you please let us know because it is our top priority to communicate with our clients.

Our office is moving to a virtual set up, so we request that you email us at info@powerskatingacademy.com to schedule a convenient time that we can contact you.

We hope to start the Spring classes as they are scheduled to begin in April 19th. The provincial government plans to re-open schools on April 6th and the City of Toronto plays to resume programs and access to the facilities on April 5th.

We hope that this plan doesn’t change and we are committed to only resume training when it is recommend be Toronto Public Health, Health Canada, and the management at our partner rink facilities (ScotiaBank Pond, Vaughan Iceplex, Don Montgomery, Centennial Arena, Ed Sackfield, Tom Graham, and the arena in Stouffville).

It has been a tough week on everyone: for you, the families of the skaters that make our work fun, our instructors who are family to us, and of course Kathy, Dave and Miles. We look forward to being strong through this, staying healthy, and getting back on the ice to keep getting better at the sport we all love.

Sincerely,
All of the team at PowerSkating Academy.
